MAIN DESCRIPTION
Beautiful stone Tuscan hamlet dating back to the 16th century comprising 8 accommodations and nestling deep among the splendid Chianti Classico vineyards. This property still shows the blazon of the astronomer Galileo Galilei who stayed in this hamlet many years and drew inspiration from the beauties of the surrounding landscape.
This property was restored in 2010 preserving its original architectural features and its ancient charm and was turned into 8 charming accommodations.
All of the apartments are welcoming and tastefully furnished in a typical Tuscan style with wrought iron beds and nice pieces of furniture. This hamlet is located right in the heart of the Chianti Classico region, a short distance away from the small towns of Panzano and Castellina in Chianti as well as from other charming Chianti villages such as Radda in Chianti, Gaiole, Greve in Chianti.
The outside areas are well kept and allow their guests to relaxing and enjoy one of the most beautiful landscape in Tuscany.
The access to the property is via an unpaved but well-kept road.
Distances: Panzano with general stores 6 km away, Castellina in Chianti 8 km, Siena 35 km away, San Gimignano 38 km, Florence (airport) 50 km away, Pisa (airport) 130 km away.
At guests’ disposal: large outdoor areas surrounding the property, shared swimming-pool (12 x 6 m – min. depth 1,4 m – max. depth 1,6 m – open from 01/05 to 30/09), dressing room, toilet and open-air shower (cold and warm water).
The units Chianti # 6 and 8 provide a washing machine while Chianti # 1 and 7 share a laundry with coin-operated washing-machine.

| Très belle propriété au milieu des vignes du Chianti. Tout a été refait recemment avec gout. Les propriétaires sont disponibles et prévenants. Bref un endroit idéal pour passer de bonnes vacances. |

We could not have wished for a better base to see Tuscany. The directions provided were great right up and to the last step which caused us some difficulties. A bit more detail here would be appreciated.
The villa itself was absolutely ideal and we could not have wished for more. The surroundings were picturesque and quiet despite several families also staying in the villa. The pool and grounds were extremely well kept and it was so relaxing just to spend time in the grounds.
Our villa was stunning and personally, I don't think the pictures on the website did it justice. It was more than we could have ever hoped for. The beds were big and comfortable, the kitchen was well appointed and the sitting room was incredibly comfortable. There was more room than we knew what to do with!
The owners were incredibly helpful and came out at odd hours several times to help us out. Nothing ever seemed too much trouble.
I'd book this villa again in a heartbeat. I can't say a bad word about it!
