The farmhouse is named “BORGO DEL CASTAGNO” spread in a vast lush green area it boasts about the peace and privacy it offers. It is a stunningly beautiful stone hamlet situated in a bit isolated place surrounded by olive trees and woods of ancient chestnut trees (the typical Tuscany trees). We have restored the architecture without harming its original feel, so as to provide you with the latest luxuries together with the ancient feel. It has now been divided into 7 nice apartments, all lavishly furnished in Tuscan style. You can dive into the pool to relax or you can also visit the nearby tourist attractions like food shop 1.5 km, the charming medieval town of Cortona with all kinds of shops 4 km, Camucia (train station) 4 km, Arezzo approx. 25 km, Perugia approx. 50 km.
The view from the villa was fantastic and the surrounding very peacefull. The kitchen was well equipped. It is the ideal location if you are looking for a quiet place to relax after a long day on the road.
Other facilities available are large and equipped garden, swimming-pool (12 x 6 m – maximum depth 1.4 m – open from 14/05 to 30/09), barbecues, shared washing machine and iron, parking within the grounds. Within the rental villa you are free to pick seasonal fruits like figs, nuts and chestnuts and to buy the products of the estate (olive oil, jams, wine). There is a possibility to go biking and horse ridings in the woods situated around the Tuscan property. There are some other extra services we provide like maid service, extra bed available upon request. Baby cot available upon request (€ 25,-/per week to be paid on the spot).
