About Cortona

The foundation of the city of Cortona dates back to the roots of civilization, that is to say to the Etruscan age. In fact, in Cortona, you can nowadays visit an extremely interesting Etruscan Museum. Another "must see" in Cortona is the stunning Farneta Abbey, grasped to the rocks of the hills above Cortona.
The city centre of Cortona dates back to the medieval age, it is sunny and well kept and a walk around will probably take you to one of the nice shops with typical handmade draperies. Cortona is a good place for shopping for your home!
