About Fabro
Fabro is a small town, located in the province of Terni, in Umbria region, in Italy. It was divided into 2 different cities, Fabro and Carnarola, until 1870, when these two towns were reunited. This is why Fabro has actually two historic city centre, which gave birth to the two modern towns of Fabro and Colonnetta.
The bourg of Fabro is characterized by an ancient castle, dating back to 1000 a.C., which was built on the base of a Roman fortress and was renovated in 1600, becoming a typical elegant noble palace.
The city centre developed starting from 1500 a.C..
The fraction of Colonnetta is more industrial and every year, in Colonnetta, it held the exposition and market of truffle, on the second Sunday of November.
