Fornacino offers a wonderful pool to spend moments of leisure with friends, a big garden for the open air days that makes fantastic your stay in the warm seasons. This property has been carefully restored and turned into 6 comfortable apartments, all of which offering nice interiors furnished in a rustic style with some antiques. The location, among vineyards and olive groves is peaceful and dominates the Chianti Classico hills. Beautiful panoramic views with Siena in the distance are afforded. This property provides a well-kept large garden (6000 m2) with infinity pool whose use is to be shared among the 6 apartments.

Sehr ruhiger Ort zum Erholen und Entspannen. Gut ausgestattetes Appartment. Pool mit Schatten bis zum Nachmittag, viele Liegen, Tische und Stühle. Der Service war fast jeden Tag vor Ort und sehr zuvorkommend! Besonderen Dank dafür! Häufiger Wäschewechsel.
Es war ein schöner Urlaub dort oben.
Einziger Nachteil (vielleicht): Die Außenanlagen sind sehr spartanisch. Der Vorteil nicht vorhandener Blumen(töpfe) ist jedoch, dass es keine Ameisen und herumfliegende Blätter gibt...

Tolle Wohnung. Vorallem das Wohnzimmer ist so schön und gross, ganz wunderbar. Wir sind mit Freunden gekommen um den Palio zu sehen: ein irres Schauspiel! Die Wohnung ist der perfekte Ort für einen erholsamen Urlaub! Vielen Dank, wir empfehlen sie gerne weiter!

From the moment we arrived, we felt at home and very relaxed in this stylish and well appointed property. Upon arriving we were greeted by the owner and made to feel so welcome. We were close to all amenities, supermarkets, great tavernas. We would highly recommend it.

Sehr gepflegter Besitz in schönster Umgebung mit sehr netten Gastgebern. Wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Siena und San Gimignano sind so nah, dass man „mal eben“ einen. Ausflug machen kann ohne grossartig damit den ganzen Tag organisieren zu müssen.

The property is in a beautiful but quiet location surrounded by vineyards and spectacular Tuscan scenery. The apartment was spacious and generally cool inside despite the high temperatures outside. The pool area is superb with extensive paving and plenty of sun-loungers.
Our only gripes were minor. The beds are very firm and there is only one thin pillow per person; perhaps the owner could supply more for different sleeping preferences.
The regulations request that the pool is not used after 8pm. After a long hot day slogging round the tourist dens of Siena and Florence an evening swim is exactly what is required!
Overall a lovely family holiday though.

Absolutely amazing views from the pool and windows. The apartments are near to Siena which you can see from the pool area. Very quiet and very clean. Would be back there tomorrow if we could. Julie W - Scotland July 2009
