Phaedra is a share of a villa for rent with a private pool situated in the small town of Kounoupidiana, Crete.
The marvelous villa rental is part of a complex of 4 sister houses, all of them featured in our website (Phaedra, Dioni, Iris e Aelia). The beautiful, 3-level share of a villa offers 2 bedrooms and a room with a sofa bed, to accommodate up to 5 people. This ultra modern house features not only prestigious furniture but also plenty of light: the large windows make every room in the villa rental incredibly bright.
This house is ideal for a completely relaxing vacation, but at the same time it is close to the most important cultural attractions.
Phaedra offers various outdoor areas: at the villa entrance there is a covered table and chairs, on the first floor there is a large terrace with another dining area, and there is an enchanting roof terrace with a sun deck (accessible from the room on the top floor). The views of the sea and surrounding panoramas from the roof will take your breath away.
The strategic location is within easy reach of Crete’s most beautiful beaches, major tourist attractions, and main services (harbor, airport and highway).

Ground floor: entrance and large living room (fireplace, TV) with dining area and kitchen (coffee machine, refrigerator, freezer, oven, dishwasher), WC. From the living room and the kitchen there is access to the covered patio at the front of the house, and to the back of the house.
First floor: double bedroom with private bathroom with shower, bedroom with 2 single beds, bathroom with bathtub (washing machine). Both bedrooms have access to a very large terrace with a table and chairs.
Second floor: room with a single sofa bed and access to the roof terrace (sun deck).
All of the rooms have air conditioning.

We had a lovely stay at the Phaedra Villa in Kounoupidiana. The house is very comfortable with internal parking, kitchen, air-conditioning and a private pool. Supermarkets and Restaurants are readily available in the town and I highly recommend using the bus to get to chania for a night-out, as the bus stop is just a few minutes away from the house. Frosso was very kind and helpful. It was great!

Amazing stay at Villa Phaedra – Highly recommended!
Everything was absolutely wonderful! Villa Phaedra is beautiful, spacious, and offers plenty of room and privacy for everyone. The view is stunning, and the private pool was definitely the highlight of our stay, the kids especially loved it.
Our host, Frosso, was incredibly kind and helpful heartwarming. She even provided us with pool toys and a beach umbrella, which was a lovely touch. Communication through WhatsApp was smooth and friendly from beginning to end.
We were pleasantly surprised when Frosso brought us fresh tomatoes from her own garden – such a thoughtful gesture that made us feel truly welcome.
One of the things we appreciated the most was the possibility to stay longer on our departure day, as our flight was later in the evening. It made everything so much easier and more relaxed.
We truly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back. Villa Phaedra gets our highest recommendation!

We had a great time at Phaedra villa. It was perfect for our family holiday. The villa was beautiful the pool was amazing. For us we needed a car for the area to get to where we wanted. Frosso was fantastic with any needs we had and was very kind and helpful. Closest beach 10mins. Marathi beach which is lovely 20mins away by car. Lovely little village of Kounoupidiana. Some local food places which we liked and supermarkets. Depends on how keen you are to try local.Activities- Marathi beach ( get down there early for sunbeds )and Chania at night ( though can be tough with parking). Restaurants -Mitsos bbq was great and other suggested restaurants in the booklet. We travelled to Elafonisi beach (1hr20 away) awesome drive if you adventurous. Get there early and if hope for no wind. If not spend a small amount of time.

La villa est parfaite ! Très propre, très bien équipée, des moustiquaires à toutes les fenêtres, la clim dans toute la maison. Niveau électroménager aussi. Bref rien à redire ! Si toute fois la localisation à côté de l’aéroport peut déranger il n’y a pas bcp d’avions et le bruit est plus que supportable, aucun soucis de ce côté là non plus ! Frosso notre hôte est très disponible, réactive, elle nous a donné de bonnes adresses dans la région !
