Villa Maraus is a big villa rental with a private pool and padel court in Marausa, a renowned seaside resort near Trapani on Sicily’s west coast.
The property is in a splendid seafront location; it’s just a few steps (10 meters) from a low cliff where you can dive into the crystal clear waters of this marvelous, arrestingly beautiful stretch of coastline.
Made up of a main house and 2 annexes, Villa Maraus has 5 bedrooms and 2 double sofa beds to comfortably accommodate up to 10-14 people.
This beautiful villa with a private pool in Sicily is perfect for your vacation: the refined, contemporary interiors are welcoming, well-appointed, gracefully simple, and equipped with all modern amenities.
Nestled in a splendid garden of palm trees and agave plants, Villa Maraus offers a large pool with a whirlpool area; a gym; a brand new padel court; and a furnished covered patio for al fresco dining and enjoying Sicily’s gastronomic specialties and excellent wines.
One of the property’s best features is the main house’s roof terrace, host to a Jacuzzi with panoramic views. Here you can relax and take in breathtaking sea views, with the Aegadian Islands on the horizon. On the brand new padel court sports lovers will have fun playing with friends and family.
The villa’s location is also an excellent base for exploring the interesting surrounding area. Within just a few kilometers there are the historic center of Trapani; the evocative salt flats; and Western Sicily’s most compelling places, like Marsala, Trapani, San Vito Lo Capo, the Aegadian Islands (connections from Trapani and Marsala), Zingaro Reserve, and the archeological sites of Segesta, Mothia and Selinunte.
Upon request, it is possible to rent a private inflatable boat (with or without a skipper) for exploring the Sicilian coast and islands. The boat rental jetty is just 100 meters from the house.

This villa is beautiful, so many amenities all of which maintained really well. The hosts are incredibly friendly, during check in they showed us around the villa in person. Each of the villas had great sized bedrooms and bathrooms. The kitchen in the main villa had everything in it that you needed to cook for a large group, we had 11 people and never struggled for pots, pans, and utensils. The kitchen isn't very big but we never had an issue for space, there is plenty of space to cook. Each of the annexes were well kept and had all the amenities you required including kitchens, fridges and bathrooms. The roof terrace was a great place to spend an evening with a drink watching the ocean and the stars. The pool was bigger than we thought it was and made for lots of fun, it lights up in the evening a beautiful purple and was a great place to cool off. The paddle court is a great addition and we enjoyed playing paddle ball of an evening with all of the balls and paddles supplied.

Very quiet area. We were there in September. The garden is home to many animals.
The pool is huge and the absolute highlight.
We loved that two of the rooms were in separate buildings, each with a living room and a small kitchen. We were 10 people, and there was plenty of space for all of us.
