The villa is nestled in the rolling, olive tree covered hills that are characteristic of this area of Tuscany.
There is a well-tended garden with a private, above-ground saltwater pool, sun loungers and umbrellas: the perfect place to relax and cool off on hot summer days. A veranda with large windows offers a barbecue, table, and chairs for meals and enjoying the marvelous surrounding countryside, with views from Abetone to Florence.
This vacation villa in Tuscany is strategically located within easy reach of Tuscany’s main places of interest, such as Florence, the Chianti Classico area, Pisa, Lucca, Volterra, Siena and the Tuscan coast (the nearby Versilia area offers large free access beaches and beach facilities). 3 km from Villa Marusca is the small town of Seano, where you’ll find shops of all kinds.
The owner’s sister lives in an annex on the property, but she does not have access to the garden or the pool, which are for the exclusive use of Villa Marusca guests.
A section of the villa includes a small apartment with its own private, independent entrance at the back of the house. While this space is occasionally occupied, the swimming pool, sun deck, and garden are never shared and remain for the sole use of Villa Marusca guests.

Zwei Wochen in der Villa Marusca fühlten sich für uns wie ein kleines Stück Paradies an. Das historische Haus aus dem Jahr 1860 ist voller Charme und wurde mit so viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet, dass man sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen fühlt.
Die Aussicht über die sanften Hügel der Toskana ist atemberaubend – morgens, wenn die Sonne über die Olivenhaine steigt, genauso wie abends beim entspannten Grillen auf der Veranda. Unsere Teenager liebten den Pool, wir Eltern die Ruhe und die Atmosphäre.
Der Garten ist sehr gut gepflegt und zeigt, wie viel Herzblut die Vermieter in dieses Anwesen stecken. Alles ist sauber, ordentlich und liebevoll gestaltet. Die Privatsphäre war jederzeit vollständig gewahrt – trotz des Nebengebäudes fühlten wir uns immer ungestört und ganz für uns.
Das Haus entspricht in allen Details der Beschreibung und den Bildern: die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet, die Betten sind gemütlich, die Klimaanlage in den Schlafzimmern sorgt für angenehme Nächte, und die gesamte Einrichtung wirkt passend und durchdacht.
Die Lage ist ideal, um die Toskana zu erkunden – Florenz, Lucca, Pisa, Siena, Vinci und viele weitere Ziele sind bequem erreichbar. Der Parkplatz im abgeschlossenen Bereich gibt ein gutes Gefühl von Sicherheit. Die Zufahrt ist zwar etwas schmal und steil, aber selbst mit einem Mercedes EQS problemlos zu meistern.
Die Kommunikation mit den Vermietern war (Dank Übersetzungs-App) freundlich und herzlich.
Man merkt, dass die Gastgeber sich wirklich kümmern und möchten, dass ihre Gäste eine wunderbare Zeit haben.
Wir haben uns als Familie mit zwei Teenagern rundum wohlgefühlt und kommen sehr gerne wieder.

We just returned from a fantastic stay. If you are looking for a quiet place with a lovely view of the valley yet still within easy driving distance of all the Tuscany sites then this is you place.
We enjoyed a couple of nice, quiet days by the pool which was excellent. The views of the valley in the morning and the evening were fantastic. We had a little rain at the end of the trip so the glassed in outside eating area was really handy.
Overall the villa served out purpose as a home base for exploring Tuscany very well and we would return again in the future.
